Small Grey fish

The Great Sea Turtle is a turtle of virtue and prestige at the bottom of the sea, lying on a large slab and enjoying the currents every day.

Because of his enormous body, he tells many interesting stories. A small fish at the bottom of the sea adores him and is fond of moving around his body.

One day, a small, dusky-grey fish had come from a remote sea, saying that it had met with large tides, confused and disoriented as it was pushed all the way here, arriving in an unfamiliar sea area. 

The Great Turtle felt that he was very pitiful and offered shelter to the small, grey fish who didn’t like to talk.

There were many beautiful, precious, small fish at the bottom of the sea. But only this small, grey fish could stay on the Great Sea Turtle’s back, which the fishes respected. Every day, he got to hear the Great Sea Turtle tell stories, sleep, chat, take care of each other and snuggle up to each other.

The rest of the small fish were very jealous but said nothing.

One day, the small, grey fish told the Great Sea Turtle he had wanted to return home soon. In fact, it was a barren sea area. It didn’t have seagrass, didn’t have starfish, it also didn’t have many beautiful, small fish. It just had a sea and sky that was blue, it was so extravagant in its simplicity that it was melancholic.

The Great Sea Turtle was quite slow on its feet, but he went with the small, grey fish returning home——actually, he hadn’t moved from this area for almost 10 years. That chunk of the slab was good geomancy.

This might be a once-in-a-lifetime journey for him.

And this small, grey fish was the only small, grey fish in his life.
